Angelina Goes Blonde: Angelina Jolie’s New ‘Do The Real Deal Or Just A Wig?

Angelina goes blonde?! Don’t worry brunette hair lovers, this is nothing to be concerned about. According to the Mail Online, Jolie has been filming By The Sea in the Maltese Islands with her husband, Brad Pitt, and she showed off a much lighter hairdo for the role. Jolie plays Vanessa, a woman who is traveling the world with her husband, Roland (played by Brad Pitt). This is the first movie that the couple has done together since Mr. And Mrs. Smith back in 2007 (where they met and fell in love).

“The Hollywood power couple [was] spotted filming on Wednesday a tense scene on the idyllic island of Gozo with Brad offering a comforting embrace to his real-life bride as she stayed in character,” reports the Mail Online.

Angelina didn’t actually go blonde for the role, however. According to Us Weekly, Jolie is just wearing a wig — she didn’t actually dye her long brown locks. There’s no question that Jolie looks great with lighter hair, regardless if it’s real or not.

“Still, the dirty blonde style, cut shoulder-length and feathered for the ’70s period piece, flattered the actress while she filmed sweet scenes with Pitt in Malta,” reports Us Weekly.

According to the Inquisitr, Angelina and Brad began filming By The Sea — which was written by and is being directed by Jolie — after they got married. The two had a very hushed up ceremony that was attended by just their immediate family. Each of their six children had a part in the couple’s special day. Jolie even wore a wedding dress that had her children’s drawings on it (designed by Luigi Massi from Atelier Versace).

Brad Pitt is happy to be working with his wife again and, from the sounds of it, he might work with her more often in the future.

“We’re not ones to repeat ourselves, but we’d like to [work together again], because right now, we’re hopscotching with films so one can be with the kids and one’s free to work. And why aren’t we doing them together? Why aren’t we doing everything together?”
