Breaking Bad Themed Cookbook Published by Hachette, Learn How To Make Meth Muffins Like A Pro

Breaking Bad may not air on television anymore, bit it is still inserting itself into our daily lives. From the controversial action figures at Toys ‘R’ Us to the announcement of the Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul, the legacy of the show will simply not fade away. Now, you can join in the cooking fun with a cookbook inspired by the show. Baking Bad: Great Recipes is considered to be a comical tie in companion to the television series that will have you cooking meth muffins in no time (complete with blue sprinkles).

Baking Bad: Great Recipes features tasty treats like ‘meth muffins,’ ‘apple and banana Hank-cake,s’ ‘chocolate Gustavo fingers,’ and ‘Heisen-batten-burg cake.’ The spoof cookbook was written by Walter Wheat and is published by the Orion Publishing Group, a subsidiary of Hachette U.K.

Walter Wheat is the pseudonym of the author. He is a TV writer, a foodie, and a huge fan of Breaking Bad. He claims that Hazmat gear is not required when cooking his concoctions and that his recipes are “98% pure but 100% edible.”

Baking Bad: Great Recipes does not officially release until November 6 in the United Kingdom, but Buzzfeed U.K. has released a few of the tasty treats on their website, allowing obsessed fans the opportunity to start cooking prior to its release. However, if you live in the United States, it became available on October 28.

Baking Bad: Great Recipes is an amazing tribute to the iconic television show that it spoofs, and the perfect teaser as fans wait for Better Call Saul to make its debut on the small screen. It is unknown whether the cookbook will receive the same treatment as the action figures did at Toys ‘R’ Us, but there is always the chance since themed treats could potentially mimic the looks of real drugs, or those featured in the television series. However, one bite of the tasty treats is sure to take your mind off of the what ifs, as you begin to experience a sugar high.

Although Baking Bad: Great recipes will not send you on a twisted journey toward drug lord kingpin-ship, it might send you on the path to become a great baker and cook, inspiring new recipes with pun-filled names that provide the perfect sugar high before you crash.

What sort of recipes can you think of that would fit the theme?
