Bruno Mars is presently slated to bring his considerable talents to the Rock in Rio stage in Las Vegas next year. Start planning your trips to Sin City now.

Since Mars is easily one of the hottest and most recognizable pop stars on the entire planet at the moment, it’s not altogether surprising that organizers want the guy to bring his songs to Vegas for the aforementioned festival. Judging from the recently-announced lineup, Bruno will definitely be in good company during his stay.

According to the Associated Press, Bruno Mars will join No Doubt, Metallica, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift at next year’s Rock in Rio USA. In addition to a bevy of high-profile recording artists, the event will also feature a “Ferris wheel and 64-foot-high zip line.” In other words, organizers want attendees to have as much fun as humanly possible.

China Topix reports that MGM Resorts International will host the festival in Las Vegas next summer. According to website, the event will take place May 8-9 and May 15-16. Tap dancers, a fire-thrower and a magician helped spread the news about Rock in Rio.

Although Bruno Mars fans will no doubt flock to Vegas to see their favorite artist perform onstage, The Huffington Post points out that there are literally a ton of other musicians slated to perform during the festival. In fact, attendees will have to figure out who they want to see as it’s next to impossible to catch everyone.

“Over the six stages, there are going to be about 100 artists performing, with the remainder of the lineup being announced sometime next year. For now, the superstars that have already signed on should help shift a healthy number of tickets, which go on sale in January. The festival is so far expecting around 80,000 people to show up per day…”

Of course, Bruno Mars is no stranger to the wilds of Las Vegas. The Inquisitr previously reported that the singer spent some quality time with Jennifer Lopez after he wrapped up a show in Sin City. According to sources, the pair had a blast hanging out together.

“They were having a really great time dancing, while Bruno sang along to his tunes ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ and ‘Bubble Butt’ from the DJ booth.”
