‘The Little Couple’ Star Zoey Celebrates ‘Gotcha Day’ With Jen, Bill And Will

Zoey of The Little Couple has now been a part of her forever family for an entire year. Zoey’s mom, Dr. Jen Arnold, shared the news of the milestone via social media, and fans of the family can’t help but smile. It’s been a challenging year, but one with some exciting results.

A year ago, Jen Arnold, her husband Bill Klein and their son Will were in India to complete Zoey’s adoption. The tyke had a tough time adjusting to her new surroundings and family, naturally, but that wasn’t the only challenge the family faced. Just as Zoey was placed with Jen and Bill in India, Arnold started feeling quite unwell, and she made the difficult decision to return home to Texas early.

As The Little Couple fans know, Arnold was soon diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She went through some difficult treatments, but the cancer went into remission. Jen recently shared that she had been able to have her port removed, surely a good sign for the state of her health now. Arnold will continue to be screened carefully, but at this point the remission is very welcome news for the family and the show’s fans.

This week, Arnold tweeted an adorable picture of Zoey and noted that it was “Gotcha Day.” This is a phrase many adoptive families use to reference the day the child was united with the family. The Little Couple star added that they are lucky to have her as their daughter.

The show’s Facebook page also shared a sweet picture of Zoey to celebrate the family’s Gotcha Day, and fans went wild in their support of the post. More than 150,000 supporters “liked” the post and 1,000 shared it. Hundreds commented, and everybody can see just how much Zoey has blossomed in the past year.

In addition, Zoey just celebrated her third birthday. Fans will have to wait and see just how The Little Couple embraced the big day. The show is said to be filming new episodes now, but TLC hasn’t specified a return date quite yet.

Zoey may have been overwhelmed and reserved in her early days with the family, but it’s clear that she’s come a long way this past year. The Little Couple fans are anxious to see the family back on-screen in new episodes so they can get their fix of Dr. Jen Arnold, Bill Klein, Will, and Zoey and see what they’ve been up to these past few months.
