French Jewish Teenage Girl Joins ISIS, Tries To Blow Up Parent’s Store

As ISIS recruiters in Europe do what they can to swell the ranks of their organization, recruiting would-be fighters to join them in their takeover of Syria and Iraq, it has been revealed that at least one French Jewish teenage girl left Judaism in favor of becoming Muslim and joining ISIS.

While it was reported last week that the French estimate around 100 women and girls have joined ISIS, not to mention hundreds more men, it was assumed that all of the recruits would, at the very least, have been born Muslim or atheist and certainly not Jewish.

The girl is reportedly just 17 years old and even though she was raised in a loving, religious Jewish family environment she now covers her face totally with a traditional Muslim veil and was stopped at a French airport before taking off to join ISIS in Syria.

The girl was apparently not brainwashed by ISIS recruiters but, for some reason according to reports, brainwashed herself into believing that killing people for not being the right kind of Muslim was acceptable and even a good thing.

Anthropologist Dounia Bouzar, founder of the Center for the Prevention of Islamic Related Sects (CPDSI) that works to rescue French youth from radical Islamic brainwashing, told the Hebrew-language Channel 2 about the case, confirming that the girl even tried to blow up her parent’s store for the sake of “Jihad.”

Bouzar said that it hard to understand why a girl such as the one in this case would be attracted to the radical world of militant Islam, as she, “grew up in a Jewish home that was religious but open with loving parents.”

Bouzar continued that the girl’s parents contacted her in March, saying they are, “pretty affluent merchants who are trying to rescue A from this trap. Imagine the shock of the parents when they found out that their daughter intended to blow up their store!”

According to Bouzar, the girl in this case doesn’t fit the standard profile of would-be ISIS recruits, “the overwhelming majority come from atheistic homes. It can be assumed that the lack of spiritual elements in education is one of the causes of extremism.”

Apparently, there are a lot of ISIS recruiters in Paris and they also work heavily with social media, as Bouzar warned, “there are worse things that the virtual enemy and more dangerous – there are actual networks to recruit candidates for Syria planted in France and the Paris region. She made contact with them and they won’t leave her alone.”

Unknown to the recruits, when they arrive in Syria they generally serve as wives, concubines, babysitters and housekeepers for the terrorists, positions they can never leave in most cases.
