NBA 2K15: Great Game – But The Face Scan Turns You Into A Monster. Here’s How!
NBA 2K15 was officially released by 2K Sports online and in stores on Tuesday.
Long before the release date of NBA 2K15 arrived, there were quite a few credible reviews and ratings circulating online about how great the game is and how much loyal fans of the NBA 2K franchise would love it. However, one of the main issues that seemed to slip through the cracks between the game’s production and release was that it’s Face Scan feature is severely flawed.
The Face Scan feature is a brand new feature that has not been worked into either of the previous NBA 2K releases.
The basic concept of the Face Scan feature is that you can use your next-gen console camera to take a picture of your own face.
Once the photo is captured, you should then be able to create your own NBA 2K15 player that will have your face.
Great idea, right? It would be — if it worked properly.
What thousands of people had to find out the hard way shortly after getting comfortable with their new game on Wednesday is that the Face Scan feature simply does not work. That is, of course, unless gamers intentionally want the faces of their created players to look like characters from a horror movie.
Realizing that there was nothing to do in order to fix the NBA 2K15 Face Scan glitch, many gamers have simply had fun with it — posting their best (and worst) Face Scan pictures on Twitter.
Please, please: Never, ever fix 2K15’s face-scan glitch, @Ronnie2K http://t.co/uFtYhz9Aag pic.twitter.com/mkSBW8BDRx

It is important to note that the NBA 2K15 Face Scan glitch did not affect all gamers the same way. There were quite a few NBA 2K gamers that were able to successfully use the Face Scan feature without running into these complications.
The @NBA2K version of me looks better than me. It even has the freckle under my eye. Cray. #facescan pic.twitter.com/dU3rLhs9sG

Chances are that the development team is currently hard at work to fix this technical glitch as soon as possible and likely will release an update patch for NBA 2K15 gamers to eliminate this problem completely in the near future. Until this NBA 2K15 Face Scan problem is resolved, however, chances are that pictures of these horrifying virtual monstrosities will continue to flood Twitter and even Instagram.
What do you think? Have you tried to use the Face Scan feature on NBA 2K15 yourself? Was it a success or an epic failure?
