Jessica Simpson Split: Eric Johnson Already Sleeping On The Couch?

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson might not be as happy as they seem. Despite sharing some super sweet photos on Instagram, Jessica is allegedly having some issues balancing husband time with kid time. According to OK! Magazine, Jessica has shifted her focus to her two children — 100 percent — and Eric has been, well, neglected. Apparently, Eric is already sleeping on the couch, giving up his spot in bed to the couple’s two children, Maxwell and Ace.

“According to sources, Jessica’s energy is completely focused on her kids, snuggling in bed with them while Eric camps out on the couch. Sources also claim that Jessica and Eric are barely having sex and that Jessica isn’t always ‘receptive’ to Eric’s advances,” reports OK! Magazine.

While Jessica Simpson has shifted into full-time mom-mode, the couple might not actually be splitting up. While the passion might be gone — even if it’s temporary — this is something that happens in many relationships, and many couples are able to overcome this phase. According to Us Weekly, Jessica recently opened up about married life — and she definitely sounded like things are going really well.

“We have felt like ever since we got married, we’ve been kind of living on this honeymoon… Life is better, but we don’t toast every morning with champagne,” Jess shared, referring to rumors that she and Eric toasted to their love every morning.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have been married for a couple of months now. The two tied the knot at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, on July 5. Everything was just as perfect as you could imagine.

“There were so many flowers. There was green amaranthus just hanging from branches that were over the tables. It looked like a beautiful ballroom in the middle of a forest,” said celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss, who worked with Simpson and Johnson to bring their Great Expectations theme to life (via People Magazine).

As most married couples know, however, a dream wedding does not equal a dream marriage. Being in a marriage requires work, and when you have children, that work doubles. Hopefully Jessica and Eric can keep their relationship on the right path and really work out their issues before it’s too late.

Oh, and they won’t be having any more children. According to The Inquisitr, Simpson has said that she is “done” having kids. She feels really content having a daughter and a son, and she finally has her body back… so she’s good. Hopefully, her marriage stays good too.
