Phaedra Parks Will Set Record Straight Surrounding Divorce Rumors, Rep Confirms

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks will set the record straight surrounding divorce rumors very soon.

In a report out by Wetpaint Entertainment, the RHOA star will be “candid” in a televised interview with Ellen DeGeneres. The celebrity news site spoke with Phaedra’s rep, Steve Honig. He explains that Phaedra will “break her silence” regarding her strained marriage with Apollo Nida in an exclusive on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing October 15. The actual segment will be taped on October 14.

Honig tells Wetpaint that Parks “will be very candid about what happened with Apollo, her life now and plans for the future.”

Steve also confirms Phaedra’s interview with Ellen to Rumor Fix.

“I can confirm Phaedra will be doing an exclusive interview with Ellen DeGeneres on October 14 that will air on October 15; she will be very candid about what happened with Apollo, her life now and plans for the future.”

The site asked Steve why Andy Cohen at Bravo isn’t getting the exclusive from Phaedra Parks, and his answer is Watch What Happens Live didn’t request an interview with Phaedra.

Phaedra and Apollo have been embroiled in marital strife for months, and the tabloids continue to speculate on what’s next for the embattled Real Housewives couple. Of course, things certainly heated up when Nida chose to confront his wife, instead of turning himself over to authorities on September 10 to begin his prison sentence.

Apollo’s run-in with Phaedra was reportedly horrific. He showed up at their home when Phaedra was allegedly changing the locks. He was furious with her for not depositing money into his account and upset that she refuses to take their sons to visit him in prison. The Inquisitr covered the details behind this confrontation. Steve Honig did, indeed, confirm the ugly confrontation between Phaedra and Apollo happened on September 10.

So far, no divorce papers have been served to Apollo from Phaedra. A source recently claimed that Phaedra is drawing up the divorce papers herself. It’s not known for sure when Nida will have the papers if that’s the case.

Apollo isn’t going quietly just because he’s behind bars. He has a team of writers taking over his autobiography that will reveal some big secrets. It hasn’t been revealed what exactly he’s going to spill when it comes to his marriage to Phaedra. He’ll share information about his upbringing, life as a father and how he got to where he is now.

Hopefully, Phaedra Parks will squash a lot of rumors when she finally sits down for an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
