Justin Bieber's visit to the opening night of a Paris nightclub on Thursday after he allegedly split from on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez, is getting the unsubstantiated gossip treatment.
The 20-year-old "Confident" singer was snapped by paps leaving the L'Arc club with just his bodyguards and pals, yet celebrity photo agency X17online.com claims he left with a "colorfully-dressed brunette lady."
The site insists Bieber got into his chauffeured car while a "mystery woman" -- who is not pictured with the star -- allegedly smoked a cigarette, before getting in the same car with the Canadian and going back to his hotel.
Oddly, despite the fact Bieber was snapped leaving by fans and paparazzi -- who would jump all over a money shot of an unknown woman getting into his ride --- not one picture of a female doing so has surfaced. Anywhere.
Now that is a mystery.

Other media outlets -- such as JustJared.com -- that carried photos of Bieber leaving the club, made no mention of a girl being with him at any time.
A source tells the Inquisitr the claim that heartthrob left L'Arc with a "mystery brunette" is not true, but is a fan-originated rumor that has been linked to a photo of a female who had nothing to do with Bieber.
However, because it seems Justin and Selena have broken up, the story will be given legs by gossip sites -- many of which are following fan accounts.
The 22-year-old "Come & Get It" songstress arrived in Paris with Justin on Monday.
She returned to Los Angeles on Wednesday, just one day after Justin took pal supermodel Kendall Jenner for a champagne dinner and later hung out with her, mom Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian-West at Carine Roitfeld's star-studded Fashion Book Issue No 5. release party.
Selena also attended the same bash but she and Biebs evidently avoided being snapped together.
"Sometimes we think we aren't good enough. But then I realize when I think I'm alone I have God," Selena wrote.
Her next (deleted) tweet read, "We have to learn the hard way sometimes."
A Bieber camp source told the New York Daily News on Tuesday, that "He has been good friends with the Jenner girls for many years now."
But it's speculated that Selena was infuriated by the dinner because of resentments with Kendall stemming back to an April Coachella trip amid flirting rumors. Video footage of an apparent argument between Jelena before they got to Paris has also surfaced online.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, on September 30, a clip of the couple arriving at the Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten, shows a seemingly furious Selena throwing her bag on the ground in the airport after leaving their van.
Meanwhile, Justin stayed on in Paris after Selena flew out on Wednesday.
He was spotted at a Paris Fashion Week party at the VIP Room that same night.
The singer posed for snaps with the club founder Jean Roch, before attending the opening of L'Arc club the following night where he met Mick Jagger and Lenny Kravitz.

Hollywood Life is reporting a dubious source as saying, "Selena and Justin had a bad fight in Paris. They broke up again. She already got most of her stuff out of his house."
For Justin's part, he left Paris early Friday after teasing a secret collaboration with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld and has since posted a slew of social media posts.
On October 3, he posted a selfie Instagram showing him on the steps of a private plane. It was captioned, "Til next time Paris."
Biebs appears to be rising above the speculation about his relationship with Selena, but he did follow up his jet snap with a pic of the Kardashian-Jenner clan at the CR Fashion Book party.
As for the so-called "mystery woman," it's totally illogical that there are no photos of such a female getting into Bieber's car outside L'Arc if it actually happened.
Shoddy form on the part of the site that originally ran that claim for reporting that he did.
