Tesheka Campbell, Of Folkston, Georgia, Missing, Car Found

Tesheka Campbell missing persons case: Georgia police are searching for a Charlton County woman who vanished on Monday. FCN-12 is reporting tonight that Tesheka Maria Campbell’s car was found abandoned but Tesheka, whom friends and family refer to as Sheka, is no where to be found.

According to News-4, the missing woman’s purse was found inside of her vehicle which was parked about a mile from where she lived. Tesheka Campbell’s cell phone was not inside her purse. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Charlton County Sheriff’ have released limited details about the case. Family members are eager to organize a search for Sheka but have been told by police that it might compromise the investigation. Tesheka Campbell’s friends and family have taken to social media to spread the word about their missing loved one.

“Beings tears to my eyes to see my community on the news searching for one of Charlton County’s own…. this is so heartbreaking! One thing about Folkston, we know how to come together as a community regardless of differences some may have, we stick together. I really hate this man, it feels like my family.”

Another Facebook post states,

“Just to Let Everyone know i contacted Channel 4 News to Broadcast thé Missings of Ms Campbell this is a Serious matter they have all thé Info if the Family can just push thé Charlton County police to send confirmation to Release thé Info thé Quicker her Story will be on thé News i know Your Hearts.r heavy just trying to help.”

According to her cousin, Sheka, who works as a cashier at the Friendly Express across from Flash/MCD in Folkston, is a well-known and well-respected member of the community. Tension and fear continues to build as family and friends wait anxiously to hear something about Campbell’s location.

Former Charlton County High School student Tesheka Maria Campbell is described as an African-American woman, who stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. The woman was last seen Monday, September, 29, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. Police are asking for anyone with information regarding her disappearance to contact authorities at 912-496-7321 or 912-729-6198.
