Jeb Bush Thinks Republican-Led Senate Can Restore America

While campaigning for Pat Roberts’ re-election in Kansas, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush told the audience that if the Republicans can win the Senate race in November, things will turn around for the nation.

According to a report from The Wichita Eagle, Bush told an audience of 160 people that if Roberts is the one who can be a part of America’s turnaround.

“He will not let you down, and the greatness of America will be restored,” he said.

Jeb Bush also noted that the country is in its “most pessimistic” state ever. Bush added that some of the reasons why there is so much pessimism in the country include student loan debt, health concerns, and the belief that America is still in a recession.

“This pessimism that exists makes it harder and harder for us to be able to move forward as a nation, so I think it is really important that we regain control of the Senate and show that conservatives and Republicans can govern, can lead, can offer a set of proposals that will lift our spirits, because they’re tangible,” Bush said. “Fixing a few big things will make this country grow like nobody’s business.”

Jeb Bush mentioned that if Republicans can gain control of the Senate, there will be no more political gridlock. And then the 2016 presidency is the next thing on which the Republicans must focus.

“It will not happen unless we gain control of the Senate and then run a campaign in 2016 that is hopeful and optimistic, where people can have a chance to earn success again,” Bush said.

In a related report from The Inquistr, Jeb Bush is just one name being considered for a presidential run in 2016. However, Bush has yet to announce whether or not he will run for the presidency.

While Jeb Bush has yet to announce his candidacy, there is one person who keeps pressuring him to run. According to The Hill, that person is House Speaker John Boehner.

During an appearance on This Week, Boehner mentioned how he has been hounding Bush to put in a bid for the 2016 election.

“He’s had plenty of opportunities to tell me to stop – and he hasn’t,” Boehner said.

Boehner added that Jeb Bush “would be a great candidate” if he did run.

But there are some who feel Jeb Bush may not make a great candidate, even those who vote Republican such as Ann Coulter.

And then there are some who don’t want another Bush in office.
