Lana Del Rey Schedules Two Morbid Shows At Los Angeles Cemetery


Lana Del Rey may have felt too sick to perform for her fans overseas, but her mysterious ailment isn’t stopping her from putting together a few creepy shows in Los Angeles.

Since the singer’s musical stylings tend to lean toward the strange and unusual, Lana decided to celebrate Halloween by performing a handful of her dreary tunes in an L.A. cemetery. According to Billboard, Del Rey will perform no less that two shows at the historic Hollywood Forever Cemetery, a place that houses the remains of such celebrities as Jayne Mansfield, George Harrison, and Dee Dee Ramone, among many others.

While there’s no word yet if any of these famous corpses have flipped in their expensive caskets upon hearing of Lana’s upcoming performances, a number of folks on social media are pretty pumped about Lana Del Rey’s spooky performances. In fact, it didn’t take very long for Twitter users to fill cyberspace will all sorts of thoughts and feelings.

Fans who are hoping to score tickets to the Lana Del Rey shows at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery are out of luck. Tickets for the gigs sold out within 10 minutes, leaving those who dilly-dallied with a pair of empty hands. Someone may sell you their tickets if you have enough cash on-hand, but it’s not recommended that you hold your breath.

According to Complex, Lana Del Rey will rock the tombstones on October 17 and 18. Since fans aren’t allowed to hang around the cemetery all day to secure a spot, you may have to fight tooth and nail with other Del Rey fanatics for a space in front of the stage.
