Chris Tucker could lose $6 million mansion

Rush Hour actor Chris Tucker could lose his 10,000-square-foot, $6 million home in Lake Apopka, Florida to foreclosure, a report from the Orlando Sentinel says.

According to foreclosure documentation picked up by the publication, Tucker owes the bank $4.4 million, and the IRS has a $11 million lien on the mansion in an effort to collect federal income taxes.

Tucker’s luxurious mansion in the Bella Collina community was purchased in 2007. The actor’s adobe boasts five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa located in the master suite, an outdoor kitchen and even a pirate-themed basement.

The actor has yet to comment on the situation, but reports came in recently that his upcoming comedy show in Albany, N.Y. has been canceled due to “unforseen circumstances.”

Since 2007’s Rush Hour 3, Chris Tucker has yet to star in any films, but reports came in last week that the actor closed a deal to play in a role in The Weinstein Co’s The Silver Linings Playbook. The film, which is currently in pre-production with a targeted 2013 release, stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence and will be directed by David O. Russell.
