Pippa Middleton was spotted alongside Prince Harry at an Italian wedding over the weekend, but those of you who have jumped to the conclusion that they attended it together should just cool their jets. She was also there with her boyfriend, Nico Jackson.
Harry and Pippa — the latter of whom wowed guests thanks to her pink and purple dress — watched as Charlie Gilkes exchanged vows with Anneke von Trotha Taylor. Pippa and Harry were supposed to be joined by their sister and sister-in-law, respectively, the Duchess Of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, but unfortunately she was unable to overcome the morning sickness that has blighted her pregnancy so far.
According to the International Business Times, Pippa was invited as a replacement for Kate, but despite the fact that she only received a belated invitation, Middleton was all smiles at the ceremony. Harry, who has been heavily linked with his old girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, over the last few weeks, appeared to attend the wedding with his cousin, Princess Beatrice. The trio were seen laughing and enjoying each other’s company after the service. Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, also attended the soiree with her boyfriend, Dave Clark.
Gilkes is believed to have had a long and fruitful friendship with the royal family. The nightclub owner not only attended the same private school as Prince Harry and Prince William, he is also a dear friend of Pippa’s. It’s even been suggested that the two of them dated in the past.
Pippa has been dating Nico Jackson for just over two years, and she inadvertently started speculation that she is expecting their first child together over the summer when she bought a home in West London that was already baby-ready. The $3 million Victorian terrace included six double bedrooms, a movie theater, and a quarters for a nanny.
A source told the Daily Mirror at the time, “The separate living accommodation for childcare is particularly appealing for them which could signal they think starting a family isn’t too far off. A little cousin for Prince George might not be out of the question after they set up home.”
Of course, her older sister ended up beating her to the punch after it was announced earlier this month that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her second child. However, some media outlets believe that it won’t just stop at the one child, and it’s been widely speculated that Middleton is actually carrying twins.
