Will Kris Jenner Change Her Name To ‘Kardashian’ Post-Split?

Kris Jenner might be changing her last name back to Kardashian since she’s divorcing Bruce Jenner. The move wouldn’t be surprising at all since Kris has previously thought about ditching Jenner for the sake of “the business.”

It all started back in 2013 (or maybe even earlier), when Kris told Bruce that she wanted to change her name because people always called her “Mrs. Kardashian” anyway. She said that people got confused when they heard that her last name was Jenner, and felt that changing her last name back would be a smart business decision. At the time, Hollywood Life reported that Kris wanted to be associated with her uber-famous daughters (Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe).

“The real reason Kris wants to go back to her previous name Kris Kardashian is because that’s the brand name, not Jenner,” revealed a source.

Kris Jenner now has the freedom to change her name to whatever she’d like, given that she’s divorcing Bruce Jenner. While she probably could have changed her name before, Bruce wasn’t too keen on the idea, as you can see in the video clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians above.

The couple’s divorce will take months to go into effect, but you can bet that Kris will change her name sooner than that, if that’s her ultimate plan. She was a Kardashian before she was a Jenner, so it’s all about which one she feels better suits her at this time.

According to Radar Online, the divorce papers filed by Kris Jenner (Kardashian?) had everything laid out plain and simple. It is unknown if Bruce agreed to any of this before the paperwork was processed, but it looks like Kris will make out overall.

“Bruce will walk away with $20 million in cash, and Kris will end up with $50 million. She got more, again, because of her momager status. They both have various investments and money set aside for retirement worth an additional $10 million each.”

Bruce isn’t doing too bad for himself post-split, however. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Bruce went out and splurged on a car the same day that Kris filed divorce papers in Los Angeles. The NASCAR-approved UTV race car made Bruce one happy guy. Many people feel as though Bruce deserves whatever his heart desires after spending the past 20+ years of his life putting up with the Kardashian circus.
