‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Scenes You Won’t Believe Got Cut From The Film

Months after its release, The Fault In Our Stars is still getting buzz around the internet. While hardcore fans of The Fault In Our Stars have plenty of extras to enjoy with the release of the DVD and Blu-Ray special editions, others will want to know what they’re missing from the original release. Several The Fault In Our Stars deleted scenes have emerged on the internet, including a scene featuring the author of the original The Fault In Our Stars novel, John Green. But there are a few lesser known scenes in the story that the actors of The Fault In Our Stars themselves believe should have stayed in the movie, including one that never even made it into The Fault In Our Stars‘ screenplay.

The star of The Fault In Our Stars, Shailene Woodley can be seen in a heartbreaking deleted scene that recently showed up online. According to MTV, this scene features Woodley’s character, a teenage cancer patient named Hazel, struggling to get through airport security without her oxygen tank. The scene shows the difficulty Hazel has being away from her oxygen source for even just a few seconds, and also includes a cameo from the little girl in the deleted scene with John Green. You can watch the exclusive The Fault In Our Stars clip in the special DVD and Blu-Ray release, but you can also watch it in the video below:

Nat Wolff, the actor who played Isaac in The Fault In Our Stars, says his favorite scene from the original novel never made it into the movie. It was a short scene of his character and his mother walking to support group together, according to Yahoo News.

“I like the scene where I was walking with my mom to support group,” Wolff told Yahoo Movies. “I thought it was sad and sweet. She is guiding me around, that kind of thing.”

When asked who would play Isaac’s mom in The Fault In Our Stars film, Wolff quickly responded, “I would have cast my real mom.”

After The Fault In Our Stars, Nat Wolff is slated to play the leading role in another film adapted from a John Green novel called Paper Towns, which should be released sometime next year.

The last star of The Fault In Our Stars, Ansel Elgort, is also in the news recently for splitting up with his high school sweetheart.
