Demi Lovato announces a new 10-date tour, starts in October

Nearly a year after abruptly quitting the Jonas Brother’s tour, Demi Lovato is gearing up to kick off a 10-date mini tour across the U.S.

Lovato’s first stop will be in Detroit on November 16, followed by stops in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Kansas, and two stops in her home state of Texas. From there, Lovato will be heading to New Orleans, St. Louis and then Atlanta, with her final showing being in Chicago on December 3.

Lovato dropped out of the Jonas Brothers’ tour last year to seek treatment for personal issues after having a meltdown – a meltdown that resulted in Lovato allegedly punching a dancer, Alex Welch, while on tour last year.

Just last month, Lovato dropped her new album, Unbroken, to high praise from critics. Since then, she’s been doing the rounds promoting her new song, Skyscraper, and is currently gearing up to release her second single, Who’s That Boy.

“We’re in the middle of getting the treatment and things put together,” Lovato said of her next music video to MTV. “So hopefully we’ll be shooting that soon.”

As for what’s next for Lovato, she says she’s still figuring that out.

“I’m looking forward to kind of just finding out what’s next. I don’t know what’s next — if it’s a movie, if it’s touring, I don’t know,” she said. “We’ll find out.”
