New photos obtained by TMZ have emerged with the Django Unchained actress, Daniele Watts, straddling her boyfriend, Brian James Lucas, in his car before the police arrived at the scene. It has been reported that an eyewitness called the police to complain about lewd acts of a couple in a car.
Daniele Watts, however, claimed she was harassed by LAPD officers who unfairly arrested her. Watts sustained that she did nothing wrong and believed she was racially profiled by the police. The routine call intensified as Watts refused to identify herself. Daniele was then arrested and detained by an LAPD officer as her boyfriend watches on.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that Daniele Watts was grinding on top of her boyfriend with her shirt pulled up and her breasts exposed.
An eyewitness who saw Daniele Watts and her boyfriend as he worked in a nearby office told TMZ that “Lucas was sitting in the passenger seat with his feet on the curb and Watts was straddling him and rocking back and forth.”
Prior to the release of the photos, Daniele Watts posted her account of the situation on Facebook.
“Today I was handcuffed and detained by 2 police officers from the Studio City Police Department after refusing to agree that I had done something wrong by showing affection, fully clothed, in a public place.
“When the officer arrived, I was standing on the sidewalk by a tree. I was talking to my father on my cell phone. I knew that I had done nothing wrong, that I wasn’t harming anyone, so I walked away.
“A few minutes later, I was still talking to my dad when 2 different police officers accosted me and forced me into handcuffs.
“As I was sitting in the back of the police car, I remembered the countless times my father came home frustrated or humiliated by the cops when he had done nothing wrong. I felt his shame, his anger, and my own feelings of frustration for existing in a world where I have allowed myself to believe that “authority figures” could control my BEING… my ability to BE!!!!!!!
“I was sitting in that back of this cop car, filled with adrenaline, my wrist bleeding in pain, and it occurred to me, that even there, I STILL HAD POWER OVER MY OWN SPIRIT.
“Those cops could not stop me from expressing myself. They could not.”
Daniele Watts made her film debut in the critically-acclaimed blockbuster hit Django Unchained in 2012. Watts has also appeared in the TV series Weeds.
