‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Casting Call, Find Out Where, How To Apply

We were expecting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to leave Michigan for Chicago and Illinois around the end of this month, however, a new mysterious casting call could indicate Lansing is getting ready to see some action later this fall. It seems Zack Snyder is in need of a few extras to film a scene in October.

From the details provided by Michigan Live, an all night shoot will take place in mid-October. The casting call is believed to be for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and filming would go through that time in the fall.

According to the report, two websites Casting Talent — which indicates the call is for Batman v Superman — and Michigan Film Office state Warner Bros. is looking for extras in Lansing. The night shoots will take place on October 16 and 17, and they need background extras only.

Anyone who wants to apply to be in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice must be 18-years-old and able to work legally in the U.S. The studio offers $65.20 for eight hours and overtime pay after that, which is not specified, but most companies pay time-and-a-half of the normal pay. Warner Bros. will also provide a catered meal for those lucky ones who are selected.

This is how to apply to be an extra for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Email current casual photo, name, and date of birth, along with cell phone number to wb@realstyleonline.com, with the subject “Lansing Extras.” That should do it.

In related news, Michigan Live reporter Eric Lacey shared some photos showing a few Gotham City Gas tankers, which could indicate that more explosions are being filmed for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Check out the blown up tanker Lacey spotted while making a run around Detroit and posted to Instagram.

The last photo supports the theory that some kind of major explosion takes place in this particular scene of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This past week, director Zack Snyder took the production to night shoots and revealed the new Batmobile for the first time. We have yet to see Ben Affeck’s Batman make an appearance on set.

On Monday night, there was also some action that had to do with explosions around the area where filming has taken place in recent days.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is expected to move to Chicago sometime in the fall. It is unclear whether filming will continue in Michigan until mid-October and then move to Illinois, where the production is also anticipated to return to Plano, the place where Martha Kent (Diane Lane) lives.
