Keira Knightley is reportedly bringing her fashion sense to London.
Not content with rocking the latest designs by the world’s leading fashion icons, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is jumping into the world of retail. If you’re madly in love with the sort of outfits Knightley wears on a regular basis, then she’s hoping you’ll take some of your spare change and pay her proposed shop a visit.
Of course, Keira hasn’t announced anything regarding any retail plans as of this writing. No, all of our information comes from one of those impossibly sneaky anonymous sources. According to the Times of India, an insider was somehow able to obtain some interesting info regarding Knightley’s alleged business venture. Reports suggest the actress is eyeing a space somewhere in the Islington neighborhood of London.
The aforementioned source seems to think it’s only a matter of time before Keira Knightley gets her store off the ground. Again, nothing official. Just speculation.
“Knightley is obviously at the top of her game in the acting world, but feels like the time is right to experiment with new things too. She’s a huge fan of fashion, particularly anything vintage or alternative, so it’s a perfect new opportunity. She’s excited by the idea and is committed to making it work.”
Knightley is certainly no stranger to the world of fashion. The talented actress and her husband, James Righton, recently attended the launch party for Liberty Ross’ Generation X line. Just Jared reports that Knightley and Brighton, along with James D’Arcy and Laura Carmichael, supported their pal at the event earlier this month in London.

If you’re concerned that Keira Knightley foray into fashion retail will distract her from making some wildly enjoyable motion pictures, then you can remove your head from the oven. The actress appears alongside Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch in director Morten Tyldum’s The Imitation Game later this year. The film tells the story of mathematician Alan Turing and his quest to crack the Enigma code during World War 2.
Should you need more Knightley in your insatiable cinematic diet, then keep your eyes peeled for Baltasar Kormákur’s upcoming drama Everest. Keira co-stars with Jake Gyllenhaal and Robin Wright in this tale of a Mount Everest expedition that turns dangerous. The flick is presently slated for release next year.
What do you think about Keira Knightley opening her own fashion store in London?
