‘Million Dollar Listing’ Star Fredrik Eklund Gets Close With Ryan Serhant?
The dynamic between Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant has defined the success of Million Dollar Listing: New York for the three seasons the show has been on the air. The two agents have battled it out and when their paths have crossed, the fights have been dirty. However, the tides may be turning as Eklund and Serhant are filming the fourth season of the show alongside Luis Ortiz.
Even though Fredrik Eklund has often revealed his disgust for Ryan, the two have been showing up in many pictures together, including on Eklund’s Instagram photos. And it appears that these are not just Bravo promotional pictures. These pictures could hint that Fredrik is actually starting a friendship with his former nemesis.
According to a new Instagram post, Fredrik Eklund proudly shows pictures on his Instagram page with his co-star. And Eklund even hung out with Ryan at an art event, something that is very important to his husband, painter Derek Kaplan. Since this is a career-based event, one can imagine that Fredrik wouldn’t talk to someone who could potentially cause a scene.
“New York’s hottest art opening is tonight and I have a feeling Derek Kaplan’s painting will hang here shortly… And I can’t thank Emilia and Ryan Serhant enough for supporting him at Kasher | Potamkin Gallery on the Highline #weeee,” Fredrik Eklund revealed on Instagram.
It is almost odd to see these two being friendly with one another. It is no secret that these two have fought it out in the past. Serhant told Hollywood Life last year that he had no interest in being friends with Fredrik Eklund.
“For me, it’s always been all business. I’m not looking to make friends,” he revealed, adding, “If [Frederik] wants to have a friend, he should go home and hang out with his dogs.”
Perhaps Serhant realizes that it helps to have good friends in high places. Fredrik Eklund appears to be the number one contact for new development in New York and these two may make more money together than apart.
Plus, dropping the arrogant attitude in real estate may be the way forward. This week on Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles, Josh Altman rubbed people the wrong way, including his new co-stars, with his arrogant, selfish and rude attitude. Perhaps, Eklund and Serhant have realized this and were moving forward peacefully.
The fourth season of Million Dollar Listing: New York, which was recently nominated for an Emmy, is currently filming and will air on Bravo later this year. In the words of Fredrik Eklund, “Weeeee.”
