Fans can watch the India vs. England cricket match live online and see whether India can turn around its fortunes as the format changes.

England just snatched up the five-match Test series, outplaying India en route to three victories and one draw. The teams will now start a five-ODI series, with the first match starting Monday at Bristol at 10:30 am local time (9:30 am GMT).

In the Test series, India drew criticism for its lackluster play, and as a result are turning to some new faces in hopes of sparking some momentum.

From ESPNcricinfo:

“India have had new hands on deck for the ODIs. Suresh Raina, Mohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Umesh Yadav (who, many felt, should have been here for the Tests), Dhawal Kulkarni, Sanju Samson and Karn Sharma have joined the team. Ishant Sharma, M Vijay, Pankaj Singh, Varun Aaron, Gautam Gambhir, Ishwar Pandey and Naman Ojha have gone back. Cheteshwar Pujara won’t be playing ODIs, but is likely to stay back and get in some county matches towards the end of the season.”

Fans who watch the India vs. England cricket match live online will see whether the mid-tour changes can help India turn around its fortunes. India captain Rahul Dravid said these kind of on-the-fly changes aren’t always easy, but sometimes are necessary.

“You don’t have problems if people want to make changes, it’s part of professional sport. [But] there’s still not a lot of clarity on whether this is a long term appointment or the changes we have seen are for this series, so there’s a bit of confusion around that,” Dravid said. “Sometimes from a players’ perspective that can be quite hard. I hope that’s something Ravi [Shastri] will handle quite well. All these players also build relationships with support staff and as players you do recognise that at some level you are actually responsible for your own success and failure.”
