Jim Belushi Reunites with ABC for ‘You Won’t Even Know I’m Here’ Sitcom

is back. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 56-year-old actor/comedian has reunited with ABC for a greenlit show called You Won’t Even Know I’m Here.

TVGuide.com reveals that forthcoming comedy revolves around “a co-dependent father (played by Belushi) and his teenager daughter’s relationship, which is turned upside down when they are thrown into a unique situation.”

Joining Belushi on the new project is Murphy Brown creator Diane English, who will write and executive-produce the pilot ABC has already agreed to make.

The forthcoming sitcom will mark Belushi’s second attempt to return to series TV after eight seasons on ABC’s According to Jim (2001 to 2009), in which he played a lovable suburban husband, Chicago sports fan and father of five children.

Following According to Jim, Belushi also briefly starred in CBS’ 2010 courtroom dramedy The Defenders. Upon receiving poor ratings, the show was canceled by CBS in May of 2011.

In addition to his on screen performances, Belushi was cast as corrupt business man Harry Brock in Born Yesterday, which opened on Broadway in late April.

Watch Jim talk about his performance in Born Yesterday in the Q&A session below:
