Josh Gracin Suicide Note: ‘American Idol’ Contestant Worries Family, Friends And Fans With Concerning Note

American Idol star Josh Gracin’s suicide note, or a post on Facebook that appeared to be a suicide note, got fans into an absolute panic Thursday evening. The singer from season 2 posted an ominous note that prompted a family member to pursue help from the authorities. Neighbors and police rushed to check on the singer, and luckily, he has been found and is said to be okay.

TMZ shared the post that has been perceived to be a Josh Gracin suicide note. Gracin posted on his Facebook page, “I’ve loved her for 17 years… I made mistakes… I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her help the most.” The note went on to thank his fans for their love and he wrote, “Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music… Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye.”

Police went to the American Idol singer’s home in Tennessee where he lives with his wife and four children, but he was not there. Josh’s wife was there, and police were able to reach Josh via telephone. They reportedly put him on the phone with his wife, and he told her he would come home. Police are said to have indicated they would stay at the home until he returned. At this point, it is not known where Josh was when he posted the Facebook note, where he was when police reached him, or what his plans were.

Shortly after the news regarding Josh Gracin’s suicide note hit TMZ, his manager Amy posted an update on his Facebook page. She wrote, “First, thank you everyone for your prayers and concern.” She added, “Josh is safe and with his family now.” Fans are extremely relieved to hear that Josh went home to his family and is now safe. Many are sending their support and well wishes, hoping that whatever is happening between Josh and his family, they can get the help they need to straighten things out.

Of course, this incident comes as many are still reeling from the sudden and heartbreaking suicide of Robin Williams earlier this week. American Idol fans remember Josh from his season and still adore him to this day. Here’s hoping that Josh Gracin’s suicide note was something that the family can come together to work through without further incidents.
