Illegal Immigrants Arrested In Ohio After Knife Fight 911 Call

Illegal immigrants were arrested in North Olmstead, Ohio after a 911 call about a knife fight. Police officers arrested the two men who reportedly crossed the border illegally after the call about a disturbance at a Brookpark Road apartment building.

The Border Patrol has taken custody of the illegal immigrants found in Ohio. A third man was also arrested during the knife fight investigation. The man attempted to hinder the police officers while his friends were being handcuffed.

When police officers arrived at the apartment where the knife fight suspects were located, the man who answered the door ran to the back of the dwelling and knocked on interior doors to presumably warn others.

North Olmstead police officers found Oscar Lopez-Gomez sleeping on an air mattress in the living room of the Ohio apartment. Lopez-Gomez admitted to being an illegal immigrant, according to the arrest report. Another man, identified as Pedro Lopez, also reportedly admitted to crossing the border illegally. Officers also found Eddie Noreiga-Vargas inside the apartment. When asked for his identification, Noreiga-Vargas reportedly opened his wallet and began throwing money at the officers and shouted, “Here’s my ID” as he repeatedly cast each bill into the air.

Eddie Noreiga-Vargas was arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice after allegedly attempting to stop the arrests of Lopez-Gomez. Once placed inside a jail cell, Noreiga-Vargas reportedly continued to shout until and urinated through the cell bars.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, illegal immigrants captured or surrendered along the Texas border have now been shipped to all 50 states. Texas Governor Rick Perry has repeatedly condemned President Barack Obama’s handling of the massive influx if illegal immigrants into the country. Already this year approximately 65,000 illegal aliens have been found along the Mexican border, untold numbers have managed to garner access into the United States.

According to a recent Pew report based upon government statistics, about one-third of the illegal immigrants who crossed the Texas border this year are actually unaccompanied children. A significant number of those claiming to be minors are reportedly males between the ages of 12 and 17. Concerns that the young men are MS-13 gang members has prompted even more angst by Americans living in both border states and beyond.
