Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Robbed: Briefcase Containing $4K Stolen From Rental Property
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were robbed in the Hamptons. According to TMZ, someone broke into the couple’s rented home and stole a briefcase full of money — $4,000 in cold hard cash to be precise. This is the third time that the Kardashians have been robbed, so sources connected to the family believe that this was an “inside job.”
Back in February, someone broke into Kourtney’s Calabasas home and stoke $50,000 in cash. You know, because that kind of money is just lying around on a day-to-day. This happened just after jewelry was stolen from Khloe’s home. If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians, you likely remember Khloe and Kris Jenner flipping out because $250K worth of jewelry was taken while Khloe was packing up her home to move out following her split from Lamar Odom.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have now been hit twice. While $4,000 is nothing compared to the previous robberies, the Kardashian family is becoming very suspicious of all of these thefts. According to the report, law enforcement believes that someone on the KUWTK crew is responsible — since the crew has access to the homes of the reality television stars.
According to the Mail Online, Kourtney and Scott didn’t notice the briefcase full of cash was missing for three days after it was stolen. Police believe the robbery took place between July 1 and July 4. It is believed that E! cameras were filming during this time.
“Disick made the complaint to Southampton Town Police on July 8. It was reported that ‘an unknown person unlawfully removed the cash’ that was stored in the bedroom of their $70,000 a month rental. ‘The case is currently being classified as third-degree grand larceny, which is a felony.'”
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been spending their summer in the Hamptons along with Khloe Kardashian (and occasional visits from other Kardashian/Jenner family members). The three are filming a new KUWTK spinoff called Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons. Other than the robbery last month, the family is having a grand time together.
According to The Inquisitr, Disick has been bonding with Khloe Kardashian’s new beau, French Montana. The two have been eating lobster, hanging out on boats, and enjoying the summer sun, getting along better than you may have thought possible. Obviously, this is super cool for Khloe and Kourtney — it’s always nice when significant others get along.
