Katy Perry Bemoans Her Poor Education, Is ‘Thirsty For Information’

Katy Perry has a few issues with her lack of a proper education.

The “Dark Horse” singer reportedly bid farewell to high school during her freshmen year. Although some might say that everything worked out for Perry in the long run, Katy still wishes her adventure through the public schools system was a bit more productive. When she wasn’t getting homeschooled, the pop star was hopping from school to school thanks parents penchant for moving around.

During her exclusive conversation with Yahoo!, Katy Perry explains that she could “really use” a “great education” these days. Instead of complaining about the matter, Perry said she spends a great deal of time trying to fill her head with knowledge.

The singer explained:

“I’ve learned to educate myself at this stage and how to continue my education at any age. I’m going on 30 and I’m still very thirsty for information. On tour, we go to different museums and get to soak up all kinds of different cultural experiences.”

Unfortunately for Perry, sometimes her lack of a proper education rears its ugly head during interviews. When someone inquired about the singer’s thoughts on feminism, it was painfully obvious to just about everyone that Katy was out of her depth.

She told TV host Karl Stefanovic earlier this year:

“A feminist? Uh, yeah, actually. I used to not really understand what that word meant, and now that I do, it just means that I love myself as a female and I also love men.”

Perry had this to say about feminism back in 2012:

“I am not a feminist, but I do believe in the strength of women. I don’t really like to call myself a role model for my fans. I hope that I am an inspiration for them, especially young women. My mantra, especially for the [‘Part Of Me’] film, was: If you believe in yourself, you can be anything.”

The Inquisitr recently reported that Katy Perry is apparently eager to hook up with the Illuminati. Unfortunately for the singer, she’s not entirely sure what the organization is all about. Sometimes it’s probably best to research these things before declaring your allegiance to someone’s agenda, especially in this case.

She explained:

“Listen, if the Illuminati exist, I would like to be invited! I see all that s**t, and I’m like, ‘Come on, let me in! I want to be in the club!’ I have no idea what it is. It sounds crazy.”

If Katy Perry is truly “thirsty for knowledge,” then she might want to start with two subjects: feminism and the Illuminati. Thankfully, it would seem that the singer is eager to fill her brain with as much knowledge as possible as she heads into her 30s.
