‘Batman V Superman’ On Set Photos Show Ben Affleck In Action As Bruce Wayne

More cool on-set photos from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have surfaced thanks to some very dedicated fans who are nice enough to share with the rest of the world. In them we clearly see Ben Affleck (yes, this time it’s him) in action during the car chase scene director Zack Snyder has been working on this week in downtown Detroit.

Those following the Batman v Superman production closely already know that Ben Affleck was spotted on-set this week in his Bruce Wayne persona. He and his stunt doubles were seen, in action, saving a young girl trapped in the rubble of one of the Wayne Enterprises buildings, following some sort of attack from an outside force.

We also saw mangled Metropolis cars, which lead some to believe this is one of the battles we expect to see between Batman and Superman (Henry Cavill), who has not taken part in the scenes being filmed for Batman v Superman thus far (Henry is reportedly in London doing ADR for his film The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and hopefully we will catch a glimpse of him soon).

Though we’ve had a good look at Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne’s body doubles, we haven’t seen the actor in many of the shots up until now. Instagram user and extra, J-Navarro Williams, snapped an on-set photo and video of Batfleck in action and he apparently had time to have a chat with her (note the running shoes on Ben).

According to On Location Vacations , Batman v Superman continues filming on Saturday, with more street closures for downtown Detroit.

“It is possible that some of the closures may take effect Friday night after rush hour in order to prepare the set for Saturday morning filming. Please be aware that the above schedule, although confirmed, may be adjusted due to weather conditions. The possible alteration may be the addition of Sunday filming.”

Meanwhile, several cool Batman v Superman set photos have been also posted to Twitter by @Bananadoctor . They show parts of the now-famous car chase and the resulting explosions. We can see Ben Affleck (or his body doubles) in a couple of them, as well as some Metropolis vehicles, which indicates that Superman is somehow involved in this scene as well.

Lot of cars involved. No one can drive in Metropolis apparently. See the guy in blue? #thatsBenAffleck #BVS pic.twitter.com/V4FP0RR7WU
