If you’re a fan of Back to the Future Part II you surely remember the self lacing shoes Marty McFly wore when he arrived in the year 2015, now it appears that those sneakers are set to become a reality, four years ahead of schedule.

According to Producer/director Frank Marshall in a recent tweet:

“Something big is coming soon. Can’t say anything yet. No one should know too much about their own destiny. #BTTF”

After that Tweet the following video titled McFly’s Closet was released:

Rumor has it that a few pairs of the Nike foot wear will be sold at tomorrow’s official Nike announcement and that the proceeds from those sales will go to benefit Michael J. Fox’s charity.

Sorry folks but at this time we don’t have any idea how much the shoes will cost or if they really are the self-lacing shoes from the movie and we definitely don’t know how many pairs will be made available to the public.

Now if we could just have someone announce the sale of real hover boards and the re-release of the Delorean we would have the perfect Back to the Future trifeca.

Are you willing to throw down some of your cold hard cash on a pair of shoes that self lace without your help.
