Kaley Cuoco Compares Herself To Justin Bieber: Will Her Bieb Bangs Become The Next Rachel?

Kaley Cuoco loves her new pixie cut now, but it took her a while to get used to the drastic change.

During an interview for the September issue of Women’s Health Magazine, Kaley Cuoco admitted that the pixie caused her to temporarily panic. The Big Bang Theory star revealed that her bangs were the big problem:

“I was swishing my hair to the left so much, I was like, ‘Do I look like Justin Bieber?!'”

Looking like Justin Bieber wouldn’t be a problem if Kaley Cuoco was trying to become a Victoria’s Secret model magnet, but all she wanted was to do something new after two decades of rocking the same long blonde mane. Luckily, according to ET Online, Kaley eventually decided her haircut was awesome despite her bangs’ Bieber-esque appearance:

“When I wrapped season 7 of Big Bang a couple months ago, we cut it short that night. I haven’t had my hair cut in over 20 years. I was ready for a change — I felt like I needed to reinvent myself and that cut was awesome.”

Kaley Cuoco even said that she considered shaving her head, but just think of the major meltdown fans of The Big Bang Theory would have if they saw her rocking a bald dome — they might worry about The Big Bang Theory pulling a How I Met Your Mother by giving Penny cancer and killing her off.

Luckily, Cuoco seems happy with her current length, so she won’t be sporting a buzz cut any time soon. Kaley also seems to relish all the attention her Peter Pan pixie keeps getting:

“That exploded very big. The haircut heard around the planet. We did it three days ago and it got around fast. I can’t stop touching it. I am so obsessed with it.”

Kaley Cuoco’s new ‘do might be short, but she’s still finding fun new ways to style it. Cuoco recently shared an Instagram photo of her hair pulled up into two tiny mini buns. Kaley accessorized her hair with multiple barrettes, creating a look that was very Miley Cyrus. Bangerzinga!

However, Kaley isn’t trying to steal the tongue-wagging pop tart’s style — the photo was taken from the set of her upcoming movie Burning Bodhi.

Here’s the big question about Cuoco’s haircut: Will Penny get to keep the pixie cut on The Big Bang Theory, or will she be asked to wear a wig? Cuoco told TV Line that the producers loved her new haircut, and it sounds like she’s ready to fight for her right to rock short hair on the show:

“I’m hoping Penny will keep the haircut, that’s my goal. The finale wasn’t a ‘To Be Continued,’ so I don’t see any problem with it. People change, people get haircuts, so I think this is a realistic move for Penny. Fingers crossed!”

As The Inquisitr previously reported, Kaley Cuoco’s character will experience another big change during season 8 of The Big Bang Theory — Penny is finally giving up on her acting dreams so that she can make good money as a pharmaceutical sales rep. This plotline ties in nicely with Cuoco’s new haircut. Penny is trying to reinvent herself by settling down and getting a new job, and cutting off her hair could be a symbolic way of leaving the old Penny behind.

Now that Kaley Cuoco is in Jennifer Aniston territory with her $1 million per episode salary, perhaps her pixie cut will become the next Rachel. What do you think: Should Penny keep the pixie for season 8 of The Big Bang Theory? Can you imagine Penny walking down the aisle with short hair?
