Chrissy Teigen: ‘SI’ Swimsuit Model Admits, ‘Crap, I’m Pretty Drunk’ Before Throwing 1st Pitch At Dodgers Game

Chrissy Teigen, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl and supermodel admitted to being wasted before throwing out the first pitch at last night’s major league baseball game at Dodgers Stadium.

Chrissy, 28, updated the world via Twitter and Instagram on the progress of her day leading up to an appearance on the pitcher’s mound, starting off with a pitcher of margaritas.

From Teigen’s Instagram site yesterday:

This is apparently a photo of Chrissy Teigen’s dad, who celebrated a birthday yesterday. With the picture, Chrissy posted the comment: “Dad making birthday margaritas like only dad can!! I love you dad, happy Birthday!!”

About an hour after that, Teigen posted the following Tweet:

Chrissy then posted something we’re sure every mom wants made public:

An hour after that, Chrissy Teigen posted a video of her practicing her first pitch at Dodgers Stadium on Instagram:

For being hammered, Chrissy Teigen actually didn’t do too badly when it came to throwing out the first pitch. Directionally, the ball was on target, and it hit the ground only a few feet in front of the catcher. Perhaps her giddiness over the quality of the pitch and not her drunkenness was the reason for her overtly affectionate hug with the catcher following the play, but Chrissy Teigen’s subsequent clinging to one of her friends near the sidelines, jumping up and down and pulling her friend to the ground was assuredly alcohol-induced.

Chrissy Teigen was discovered by a photographer while working as a teenager in a surf shop in Huntington Beach, California. She worked her way up through the modeling ranks and was featured in Sports Illustrated’s coveted Swimsuit Issue in 2010. In 2014, Chrissy Teigen appeared on the cover with models Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge.

Chrissy describes herself as a “passionate foodie” and to that end, she’ll have her own show on the Food Network, called Cookies & Cocktails. (Clearly Teigen has the cocktail end of things down to a science).

Teigen could have done a lot worse when it comes to ceremonial celebrity first pitches.
