Khloe Kardashian is rumored to be pregnant with French Montana’s baby, and on Monday the reality television star added a bit of fuel to the tabloid fire with a suggestive Instagram photo.
For the last week reports have circulated that the youngest Kardashian sister and her rapper boyfriend are expecting their first child. They were pushed in large part due to a picture Khloe posted on Instagram showing her full body and hand draped across her belly.
The picture set blogs and celebrity news sites ablaze, with many claiming it was proof that Khloe Kardashian was pregnant. Others pointed out that as an observant Muslim, French Montana would be observing the holy month of Ramadan and therefore abstaining from sex .
But that point has done little to stop the rumors of Khloe’s pregnancy. Some believe that Khloe dropped the Instagram hint on purpose, either to tell the world that she is already pregnant or wants to be pregnant.
As part of the competitive and spotlight-hungry Kardashian family, her photo may be a bid to steal attention away from sisters Kim and Kourtney, who are both soaking up attention with their own families.
At the same time that she’s fueling the pregnancy rumors, Khloe Kardashian is a lamenting the endless attention her reproductive system is getting.
“I feel like I’ve been pregnant for six years!” she told People magazine earlier this year.”
“I used to get offended, like, ‘Do I look fat today?’ or ‘Why are they saying that?’ But they just say it.”
But even then, Khloe Kardashian admitted that she wanted the pregnancy rumors to come true one day.
“Before I was like, ‘Do I have a baby bump? Is my belly sticking out?’ But no,” she adds. “I mean, one day the rumor will be true, I hope, but who knows? Until then, it is what it is.”
Until the day she makes the news official, Khloe Kardashian may face endless rumors that she is pregnant — and it seems she has mostly herself to thank for it.
