‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19 Cast Rumors Of ‘Real Housewives’ Star And 2 Athletes Signing On

What famous names will be on the Dancing with the Stars season 19 roster? It’ll still be awhile before the official cast is announced. Fans are eager to find out if their favorite celebrities will be one of the contestants. Season 19 could have a Real Housewives star and two athletes added.

Kandi Burruss from Real Housewives of Atlanta is the main reality TV star pegged to sign on with DWTS for season 19. LaLate reports that frontrunners behind Burruss are Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vicki Gunvalson or Tamra Barney from Real Housewives of Orange County.

The first housewife from the franchise to appear on Dancing with the Stars was Lisa Vanderpump in season 16. NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta appeared on season 18.

There are also rumors going around that soccer players Tim Howard and Landon Donovan might be on the show. Athletes for the most part do well in the competition.

On another note, pro DWTS dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, is rumored to be on the judging panel in season 19. Life & Style mentions in their exclusive report that Maks is waiting to see if Len Goodman will actually retire from the show since he’s told everyone he wanted to quit after season 18.

Maks won season 18 with contestant, Meryl Davis. Many stories about the couple have been written here on The Inquisitr.

A source tells Life & Style:

“Maks really, really wants to be a judge. Just waiting to see what Len decides before he makes his announcement.”

Maks admitted to part of this in an interview:

“Len and I will get together and think about [whether I will return].”

Rob Wade, a producer of Dancing with the Stars, confirmed at ABC’s Summer TCA Press Tour that Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron will be back for season 19. He tells E!:

“We have Erin and Tom coming back and we’re looking forward to it.We kind of knew before. We knew she had this other job and we made sure that would work out in the fall. So yeah, that’s what we worked out. It’s great and we’re very supportive of her.”

Wade also hinted that Maks will be on the show, but in a different capacity. He continues:

“I’m absolutely hoping Maks comes back to the show. I don’t know whether it’s going to be as a dancer. I think there’s a number of different things we can talk to him about and the way he’d be involved in the show. Maks will always be part of Dancing With the Stars in some way.”

Who would you like to see on the show this fall? There’s a broad range of celebrities who make it to the show to display their dancing skills.

Dancing with the Stars season 19 premieres on ABC September 15.
