Jennifer Aniston’s Marley & Methoroughly trounced Brad Pitt’s Curious Case of Benjamin Button yesterday, raking in $14.6 million in sales compared to Brad’s at $11.8 million. Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories came in at number 3 (sales of $10.4 million) and Valkyrie at number 4 (sales of $8.5 million). Variety noted that both Jen’s and Brad’s films “exceeded box office expectations by 40-50 percent.”
Even though Jennifer had said that she wanted a “tie” with Brad, I’m sure the news is making her happy after all the faux drama stirred up in Vogue earlier this season. If the bad stuff is blown out of proportion, maybe the good stuff will be, too?
