‘Big Brother 2014’ Spoilers: Week 2 Nominations, Battle Of The Block Results Are In

Things are really heating up on Big Brother 2014 this summer. The first eviction took place Thursday night, and Joey’s departure didn’t come as much of a surprise. Many were anxious, however, to see how things would shake out for week 2. Devin and Amber won Head of Household, a result that not everybody embraced. Fans are anxious for Big Brother spoilers about the nominations and Battle of the Block competition, and the results are already available.

Interestingly, the nominations and the Battle of the Block competition all happened overnight after the HOH competition. Big Brother spoilers from the BB16 live feeds reveal that Devin chose to nominate Paola and Brittany while Amber nominated Hayden and Nicole. Devin is targeting Brittany for eviction. There was a lot of talk about who to nominate, but of course this season the Battle of the Block twist can shake those up quite a bit.

Before the dust was able to settle on the nominations, the Battle of the Block took place as well. This one has both players and viewers oftentimes confused. The players need to win to get off the block, and if they do, the HOH who nominated them is no longer HOH. That means that those hoping to see Devin end up on the block somehow, after his bizarre behavior this week, needed to root for Paola and Brittany to win.

Unfortunately, that’s not how it played out. Really, it was unlikely to shake out any other way considering the strength of the players involved and some talk of throwing the competition. Hayden and Nicole won, which means Amber is no longer Head of Household. Devin keeps his HOH, and that leaves Brittany and Pow Pow on the block. Brittany knows she’s the target, and now she has to rely on the Power of Veto to give her an opportunity to get off the block. Will the house help her out on this one at all?

As Big Brother Network notes, Devin plans to nominate Victoria if one of his nominees manages to get off the block with the POV. The POV competition should be held on Saturday, and the ceremony takes place on Monday. It will certainly be interesting to see how things play out after these nominations. Will Devin get his way and get Brittany out of the house? Or will he continue to blow things out of proportion and see others turning against his plans? There is plenty of drama and even a bit of showmance love in the house already, and it’s shaping up to be a great season. Stay tuned for more Big Brother 2014 spoilers throughout the weekend as the play continues.
