Angelina Jolie has been rocked by allegations of hard drug abuse in her past, and Brad Pitt is reportedly so embarrassed that he’s thinking of calling off the couple’s wedding.
Jolie has been open about her wild past, including partying and drug abuse. But a new report claims to unveil the true depths of her addiction, including video of Aneglina in a “drug den” in the late 1990s.
The accusations come from The National Enquirer, which is promoting an interview with a man who claims to be her former drug dealer. The man, 68-year-old Franklin Meyer, said said he sold both heroine and cocaine to Angelina Jolie, and even made deliveries to her apartment at the Ansonia hotel.
Meyer claimed to have filmed a 16-minute video that shows Angelina Jolie in a “drug den.”
“This will be the final humiliation for Brad – and he could even call off their wedding,” a source told the publication.
The allegation comes just as Jolie’s career has hit a high point. She just turned in her most successful film to date, Maleficient, which recently crossed the $500 million mark. Her previous box-office topper was the 2005 movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where she first started a romance with co-star Brad Pitt.
Angelina Jolie also served as executive producer on the project.
Angelina has also seen some big personal accomplishments, including an honorary damehood for her work to end war zone sexual violence. Jolie said of the honor:
“To receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative and with survivors of rape is an honour in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine.”
The allegations of drug abuse and the reported video of Angelina Jolie in a drug den are set to be published in the July 14 issue of The National Enquirer.
