Rita Ora Reveals Her Addiction To Social Media
Rita Ora is apparently very addicted to social media, which may explain why her split from Calvin Harris earlier this year was so difficult.
While most celebrities don’t waste any time with social media — Scarlett Johansson doesn’t have much use for the likes of Twitter — others can’t get enough of it. Rita Ora recently revealed that she spends quite a bit of time on various platforms throughout the day. In fact, checking for updates is the first thing she does in the morning.
Ora discussed her addiction to Twitter and Instagram during a recent interview with Flare magazine. Considering ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris told the world about their breakup on the micro-blogging site, this writer is a little surprised that she hasn’t gone cold turkey.

Rita told the publication:
“I’m on it as soon as I wake up. I scroll with one eye open. It’s like a drug. For me, it’s like, look forward. You don’t have to look side to side. If you start looking from side to side, you get confused.”
Although Ora was probably very shaken up by the media hype surrounding her breakup with Harris, chances are she’s not shedding too many tears about the situation these days. In addition to preparing the release of her upcoming studio album, Rita is generating plenty of buzz for her collaboration with Prince.
According to The Urban Daily, Rita Ora and the “Purple Rain” singer joined forces for a song that’s set to appear on his rap album. Yes, you read that correctly — Prince and Ora teamed up for a hip-hop project that’s set for release in the very near future.

The Minnesota Star Tribune was recently welcomed into Paisley Park Studios to sample some of Prince’s new music. The outlet explained:
“Ever impatient, Prince asked [engineer-producer Joshua] Welton to play a tune they made recently with British pop sensation Rita Ora. It’s a rare rap song on which the music was as aggressive and menacing as the rapping. Prince talked about the urgency of releasing that tune because with Ora ‘time is money.’ As a celebrity with lots of endorsements, she makes money walking out of the house wearing a certain kind of makeup or sunglasses, he explained.”
Sadly, it’s unclear when Rita Ora or Prince’s album will arrive. If this writer were a betting man, then he’d put money on both record arriving before the end of the year.
