RB Ronnie Brown Agrees To Deal With Philadelphia Eagles


Veteran running back Ronnie Brown who spent six seasons with the Miami Dolphins has agreed to contract terms with the Philadelphia Eagles.

During his tenure in Miami Brown rushed for 4,815 years with 36 touchdowns while catch 184 passes for an additional 1,491 yards. In 2008 Brown made his only Pro Bowl team.

The Eagles have been on a tear this week signing six other players who include: defensive linemen Jason Babin and Cullen Jenkins, cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha, offensive lineman Evan Mathis and quarterback Vince Young

Brown brings some much needed veteran experience to the team, before his acquisition the teams only experienced RBs were LeSean McCoy who ran for 1,080 yards last season and Eldra Buckley who has made just 36 carries for the Eagles in the last two years.

Brown, a 29-year-old RB was picked second in the 2005 draft. Terms of his deal have not been revealed at this time.
