Kris Jenner Upset Over Kimye Decision To Not Sell Wedding Photos

Kris Jenner has come under fire more than once for her role as business manager for her children’s professional affairs. The ‘Momager’ reportedly makes a percentage of whatever her children make when it comes to booking them on assignments. Perhaps it is no surprise then that Kris Jenner is reportedly butting heads with her new son-in-law, Kanye West. This time the power struggle is over the photos of the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding.

Even though the nuptials took place more than three weeks ago, the couple has been subject of celebrity gossip and rumor-mill sites. Their first official photo of their wedding showed up on Instagram and broke a record for the most ‘likes.’

So, of course, Kris Jenner understands the worth of a photo album like that and may push Kim and Kanye to sell them so that she can benefit from a six figure payday from the commission.

But it seems that Kimye have decided to hang on to the album, at least for the time-being. It appears that Kanye West has taken notes from rap mogul Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, who make it a point to own the rights to all of their official photos.

When Kim married Kris Humphries, Kris Jenner reportedly negotiated a deal to sell the pictures from the ceremony to People magazine for around $1.5 million, which would have been a very lucrative payday for the ‘momager.’

However, Page Six reports that Kris’ influence had nothing to do with Kim and Kanye deciding to retain rights to their wedding album. A source close to couple said the following:

“These are Kim’s wedding pictures. Kim and Kanye were getting offers for money, and they decided with their teams not to take any.”

In this case, this high-profile of a wedding could fetch nearly $11 million for the official photos. Still, Kimye are saying, ‘No deal.’ Instead, the couple has taken to releasing a bevy of intimate shots from their ceremony, reception, and their honeymoon on Instagram and various other social media sites.

In other news, on Father’s Day, the couple recently celebrated the first birthday of their first child together. They took little Nori to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and played so hard that dad and daughter got caught napping. Kim posted to her Instagram the adorable picture with the following caption:

“This is what life is about! Our baby girl turned 1 today! We played so hard they passed out while we were watching the game! Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy in the world! The way you love our daughter and protect her makes me filled with so much love!”

So far, it looks like the couple is content to keep their private life as private as possible.
