‘GTA V’ For PS4, PC And Xbox One Release Date Possibly Leaked

Those anxiously awaiting the release of GTA V on the PC, the Xbox One and the PS4 might not have to wait that much longer if a release date briefly listed on Amazon.com is accurate.

According to the website, Game Space, Amazon briefly listed the release date for all three versions of GTA V for October 28. The listing comes just days after Sony announced GTA V would be made available on next generation platforms and Rockstar said it would be releasing the newest Grand Theft Auto on the PC.

According to Sony, GTA V will be boasting all kinds of interesting exclusive extras when it lands on the PS4. While there will also be an Xbox One version, Microsoft has not said if there will be any exclusive content on their console.

The October 28 release date has obviously not been confirmed by Rockstar or any of the parties who would be privy to such information. Amazon has since scrubbed the date from its listing of GTA V for those platforms.

The date doesn’t seem to be one that is unrealistic however, considering that gamers were told to expect GTA V sometime this fall.

It should also be pointed out that Amazon’s release date for GTA V for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One falls on a Tuesday. While retailers routinely make far distant dates as placeholders for the release time of games like GTA V, those dates don’t generally line up correctly on the calendar.

As the Latino Post points, out GTA V would be coming out on a day when most video games are routinely released. Tuesday has long been the day of the week in the United States when new movies and games are released.

Whenever Grand Theft Auto V is finally released, it appears that PC gamers are in for a treat. Rockstar has said that GTA V for the PC is going to bring a truly next generation feel to the title.

On the company’s blog posting announcing the features, Rockstar said the GTA V for PC version will have, “across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions.”

GTA V PC gamers can also expect to see more wildlife and weather and damage effects. There is also an array of new features the company says will be in the update version of GTA V but isn’t announcing just yet.
