Alexander Skarsgard, Kate Bosworth Call It Quits

It must totally be the summer of hottie man-meat liberation.

First Jack White threw a divorce party to announce his re-entry to the dating pool, and everyone swooned. Now it’s being reported that Alexander Skarsgard- who plays the eminently sexy vampire Eric Northman on HBO’s True Blood– has split up with girlfriend Kate Bosworth.

It’s actually not new-news, according to the source close to the couple that spilled the beans on them. Us Weekly says Skarsgard, 34, and Bosworth, 28, went their separate ways a while back and that the source commented:

“It was very mutual,” a source tells the new issue of Us (on newsstands Wednesday). “And it happened a while ago… He’s single,” confirms a source, “and he is loving the attention!”

According to the gossip column, A.Skars hit up the Comic-Con convention last week, and was seen flirting with an unnamed brunette. The mag says the two later left together.
