Bride Known For Dragging Her Newborn Baby Down the Aisle Fires Back

Shona Carter-Brooks became the center of controversy last week when a picture from her wedding began circulating around social media networks and news sites. She reportedly dragged her newborn baby down the aisle on the train of her wedding dress during the ceremony. Although some people found her idea relatively unique, a vast majority of the onlookers were outraged. The baby-dragging antics led a number of insulting barbs and many questioned her character as a mother.

Now that the madness has diminished, she’s fired back with a response. Needless to say, she did wasn’t pleased with all of the negative comments and backlash. So, on Wednesday, May 28, she and her new husband Johnathan Brooks released a statement via Facebook in response to the criticism they’ve received about the ceremony.

Here’s what they had to say:

“People questioning what we do, commenting all negative, and just doing the most. We good though we covered by the Blood which never loose its power.
