Apple wins one and then turns around and loses one

Talk about about a mixed bag of a week for Apple. First they score one against HTC inn the initial ruling by the US International Trade Commission (ITC) that HTC had been found to have infringed on two of Apple’s patents. This of course has lead to a lot of speculation about the future growth of Android and the possibility that current Android handset makers could look to switching to using Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform.

Then today we hear that the ITC has ruled in favor of Kodak i its ongoing dispute with Apple and their claim that Kodak had infringed on some of Apple’s photography patents

Late Monday, the U.S. International Trade Commission ruled that Kodak did not infringe on Apple’s digital photography patents, upholding an ITC judge’s decision from May.

I have a feeling that this whole Android question and its patent vulnerabilities is only getting started.
