Watch Louis Tomlinson And Zayn Malik Of One Direction Smoking A Joint In Peru

Apparently, the One Direction lads Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik have been caught red-handed, smoking what seems to be a joint before one of their shows.

The British boy band has a perceived image to uphold and drug use is not it. But a denial proved useless; the video of Tomlinson, 22, and Malik, 21, was leaked to the media on Tuesday and is now all over the internet.

The video, recorded and narrated by Tomlinson, was reportedly shot in Lima, Peru, where the band was on tour. The now infamous footage was shot in the back of one of the SUVs the band used to get to a sold out Estadio Nacional, which holds about 40,000 spectators.

Reaction on social media is mixed, some fans seem to be disappointed at the news that their idols, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, were caught smoking what is allegedly weed, while others state their everlasting love for the pair.

The One Direction concert took place on April 27 and things got so crazy with the fans that some of them had to be treated for asphyxia.

Louis and Zayn are seen goofing around in the back seat of the car and passing the joint back and forth, then Tomlinson goes into a long speech:

“That’s just Zayn warming up there before the show. Zayn takes his job very seriously. He makes sure he goes through a two-hour intense warm up regime before every show, just to get himself in the zone. One very, very important factor to Zayn’s warm up, of course is Mary J, herself. In fact I’m presenting it to him now for some fantastic singing.”

Later during the five-minute video, Louis Tomlinson is heard talking about one of the police officers escorting the boys back to the hotel and wondering whether he can smell “an illegal substance in here.”
