A Congratulatory Wedding Video Made By This Reporter Will Leave You Speechless
Reporter Joe Michalczuk was about to get married. However, instead of gifting something standard, he chose to successfully leverage his job to get his wife–to–be one of the most spectacular wedding presents ever conceivable.
Sky News entertainment reporter Joe Michalczuk gave his new bride Jenny, the mother of all wedding presents when he recruited some of Hollywood’s A-listers to congratulate her on their big day. Joe Michalczuk decided to take neat advantage of the biggest perk of his job and used it to create a surprise video to show his wife, Jenny, on their wedding day. His perk was obviously easy access to some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood. He managed to get everyone from movie actors like Kate Winslet and Anne Hathaway to TV stars like Modern Family’s Ty Burrell. Moreover, he even went a notch ahead and managed to get popular Muppets characters to offer their congratulations about the big day, reported NY Daily News.
The video that has already started doing the rounds of the internet begins with Zac Efron offering one of the simplest, yet interesting words, “Congratulations, you picked the right dude”. The video features actresses Emma Stone, Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton and Leslie Mann offering their congratulations. Kate even went ahead and reenacted her famous scene from Titanic. She replicated her “flying” scene in “Titanic”. Meanwhile Anne Hathaway pulled a page out of “Les Miserables,” although she didn’t sing.
Jamie Foxx and “Amazing Spider-Man 2” co-star Andrew Garfield managed to wish the couple in an eerie unison. However, all was not lovey-dovey, the reporter apparently made a pass at Miss Piggy in front of her longtime flame, Kermie, who was sitting right beside her. Miss Piggy instantly shot back a cautionary advice to the new bride saying, “Jenny, run for the hills. This guy is no good. He’s not good for you,” reported Time.
Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson misunderstood Michalczuk when he said his wife’s name, but were quick to make amends, “”I thought you said Jelly,” Evans said, laughing. “I was like, ‘That’s the cutest name ever”
Actor Samuel L. Jackson managed to get even for the reporter’s faux pas where he mistook him for Lawrence Fishburne. While wearing a T-shirt that read “I’m not Laurence Fishburne,” the 65-year-old actor said, “Jenny, Laurence Fishburne wishes you a happy wedding day. Don’t forget the prenup.”
Wolverine star Hugh Jackman though, surpassed everyone when he said, “Jenny, you left Sydney. You left all of those incredible Australian men. For this?”
As far as wedding presents go, Joe Michalczuk might have just managed to find or rather make one worth cherishing.
