Maksim And Meryl Dinner: ‘DWTS’ Couple Not Dating, But Dinner Suggests Otherwise

Maksim and Meryl enjoyed dinner together in New York on Thursday night. The two were joined by a few of their Dancing with the Stars co-stars at Tao to celebrate the incredible season and enjoy some down time. According to Mail Online, Maks and Meryl got very “touchy feely” at times, fueling rumors that they are dating.

“He had his arm around her waist and her shoulder a lot and kept giving her kisses on the forehead,” shared a source.

The two have been spending a lot of time together following the show’s finale on Tuesday because they are required to do all kinds of press and other events. Since they are used to spending tons of time together anyway (with daily rehearsals), this really isn’t something to talk about. However, they are still very affectionate toward one another and that really is something. They aren’t dancing together anymore but it’s clear to see that they have a lot of love for each other.

Maksim and Meryl’s dinner wasn’t something romantic or some private one-on-one thing that no one was supposed to know about. However, their constant PDA really suggests that they are into each other and that they are past the friend level — but how far past still remains a mystery.

While it may seem that the dancing duo have the hots for one another, they recently came clean about the status of their relationship. While visiting with Wendy Williams, the two were asked whether or not they were a couple to which Meryl replied, “We’re not dating, no.” When pressed about the issue, however, Meryl just said that she prefers to keep her personal life private (via The New York Daily News).

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Maks and Meryl really do love each other. Maks’ brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, recently opened up about the chemistry and the passion that was evident when Maks danced with Meryl and how Maks acted with her (in comparison to any other partner that he has had on the show). Val admitted that the two have something very special but he said that he isn’t sure what is going to become of their relationship.

When Maksim and Meryl have dinner alone and people spot them making out, then everyone will know that they have made things official. For now, they seem to just be enjoying each other’s company. Sometimes it’s not easy to explain these types of relationships and the pressure from the media certainly doesn’t make things any easier.
