Now that season 6 of The Voice has reached its shocking conclusion , judge and Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine will be taking some time off to tie the knot with Behati Prinsloo. Levine has been engaged to the model since last July, and will supposedly be pulling out all the stops to celebrate his commitment to her by having not one, but two wedding ceremonies in two separate parts of the world.
The Daily Mail reported that Adam Levine will be holding two weddings on different continents to allow both his family and the family of his bride-to-be to witness them getting hitched. Adam’s first wedding will take place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, after a brief holiday vacation with close friends. Guests of the wedding will include Prinsloo’s fellow Victoria’s Secret models, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. Levine has vacationed in the Los Cabos area many times with his fiancé, so the location has a special place in both their hearts.
For the second celebration of nuptials, Adam and his wife will head to South Africa. Behati is a native of South Africa, so adding a second destination to the wedding will allow her relatives to share the moment with her.
“They’ll celebrate with people who can’t make the trip,” a source told Us Weekly .
There are some disputes circulating, however, that Adam’s double wedding is just a rumor. According to the Fashion Times , Behati has discredited claims that she and Levine will be having two separate celebrations. She told Ryan Seacrest in an interview, “we’re not having two weddings, I can just tell you that, that was a rumor that started from I don’t know who.”
The Fashion Times also reports that many of Adams fans were surprised at the announcement of any wedding at all, since the couple split up in 2013. Referring to Levine, Prinsloo told Seacrest, “he’s awesome and we’re very happy and we just get each other and I think we realized that after a while.” Adam had nice things to see about his partner as well, telling Us Weekly , “She makes me the best person I can be. She’s the best in the world.” Adam and Behati got together in June of 2012 and have attended numerous public events as a couple.
Regardless of how many weddings Adam will have or how committed he is to the relationship, plenty of people will be disappointed that the Voice host is going off the market. After all, Adam Levine was ranked “The Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine in 2013.
