‘Evolve’ Release Date, Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

The Evolve release date has been revealed, alongside pre-order bonuses to make one of the most original first-person shooters for the new generation even better. Turtle Rock Studios has been making their new game different enough to make fans of role-playing games and first-person shooters both look twice. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Evolve uses elements of both genres for a truly unique experience among a flood of shooters which all seem to be copying each other.

You might initially dismiss Evolve as just another action adventure, but the idea of “staging up,” as they call it, gives it a fresh approach which helps it stand apart from the rest. You aren’t just given a character and a gun, pointed at a villain, and told to “go get him” like some others (Call of Duty, Gears of War, etc.). You are part of a team of up to four players, spanning a roster of up to eight unique characters, and you’re making your way through the landscape to hunt massive monsters in varied ways.

The Evolve release date is set for October 21, close to another possible must-own Xbox One and PS4 title, Batman: Arkham Knight. Say goodbye to your free time if you take that route, because both games could easily dominate your day.

The Evolve pre-order bonuses available include a Monster Expansion Pack including the Savage Goliath skin, and another monster as it’s available. As you wander and look for food, you could be playing the role of one of the biggest monsters in the game, adding to the multiplayer fun on both sides.

Turtle Rock is the same developer which created the Left 4 Dead series, probably the most fun you can have with other players in a straight zombie shooter. If that doesn’t get you excited for the Evolve release date, we don’t know what will.
