Will Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Star In A New Movie Together?

Sitting down to talk to Extra TV recently, Angelina Jolie spilled the beans on what it takes to stay happily married in Hollywood and also divulged plans to join her partner, Brad Pitt, in their first movie collaboration since Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005.

‘He’s my family. He’s not just a lover and partner, which he is, wonderfully, but he’s my family now.’ Angelina told Extra.

Although the couple has had their own personal struggles from time to time, the 38-year-old actress and mother of six confirms that her relationship with Pitt is rock solid:

“We have history and work hard to make it great,’ she says. ‘We don’t kind of relax about it and take each other for granted. Like everybody, we have our challenges, but we’re fighting to make it great.”

She also took a moment to discuss the new project that the two will work on together, an ‘experimental’ movie which Jolie has written herself:

“I really can’t say very much, except that it’s not a big movie and it’s not an action movie,” she begins. “It’s the kind of movie we both kind of love but aren’t often cast in. It’s a very experimental, independent type film where we get to just be actors together and be really raw and open and try things.”

Recently, Jolie has been all the buzz as she has been tirelessly promoting her new movie Maleficent, which comes out on May 30th, 2014. She participated in several interviews in which she discussed what it is like to be a mother and wife working in the limelight. She recently told The Daily News:

“When I feel I’m doing too much, I do less, if I can. And that’s why I’m in a rare position where I don’t have to do job after job. I can take time when my family needs it.

And when Jolie was recently interviewed by George Stephanopoulos for ABC News, Jolie dished the following information about her plans to officially wed Brad Pitt:

“We don’t have a date, and we’re not hiding anything, but we really don’t know. We talk to the kids about it once in a while. … And one of them suggested paintball. And we thought, ‘Well, different’. So who knows, you know, I think the important thing is that whatever we do it’s that the kids do have a great time, and we all — you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable.”

Jolie and Pitt had recently resolved to remain unmarried until the right to marry was granted to all couples regardless of their orientation. This would not be the first time that the star has used her fame to shine light on social issues. She has been actively serving as a United Nations Ambassador since 2012.
