Lamar Odom Denied Club Entry As Khloe Kardashian, French Montana Party Inside

Lamar Odom decided to head to a club on Friday night… but he was denied entry. According to TMZ, Lamar showed up at Penthouse in West Hollywood with some of his buddies. Clearly just wanting to go in and have some drinks — and maybe dance — Lamar seemed like he was in good spirits as he reached the door of the club. What happened next surprised him.

Lamar wasn’t allowed to step a toe inside the club because his ex, Khloe Kardashian, and her rumored new beau, French Montana, were inside. Once Lamar was told that he couldn’t go inside, he sort of just stood there looking completely defeated.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian aren’t really speaking — at least that’s how they have made it seem. The two appear to have gone their separate ways and clearly Khloe has moved on.

Interestingly enough, French Montana was the guest of honor at the club that night and E! cameras were there, likely filming for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It’s unclear if Khloe told the club owners that she didn’t want Lamar around and while it sounds like something must have been said in order for Lamar to be denied entry, that’s not the case according to a rep.

An update from TMZ suggests that the incident had nothing to do with a “reality show set-up” of any kind, and that club bouncers were actually worried that a fight would break out between Lamar and French Montana.

According to the report:

“The decision to deny Lamar was the club’s decision alone. We’re told the nightclub wanted to avoid another bottle-throwing Chris Brown-Drake situation, so bouncers refused to let him in. Sources close to the Kardashians tell us the same story — Khloe didn’t even know Lamar planned to show up.”

Khloe Kardashian and French Montana weren’t the only celebs inside, either. Kim Kardashian came out to party as did pal Jonathan Cheban. Khloe’s BFF Malika Haqq was also spotted hanging with the group — the group that used to hang with Lamar. That’s the sort of thing that happens when you split with your husband, and it might be something that Lamar Odom needs to get used to. He may not be allowed to hang out in the same places as his ex… it’s a tough pill to swallow but maybe it is for the best.
